I miss you, desperately.

It’s been a while since I talk to you here, but you know I talk to you daily.

You know in September we “foster failed” a little girl from Bakersfield – the same place you are from! We think you sent her. Her name is Maui. We think she likes it here with us.

Maui (Peppermint Peters) is… chaos. We can’t help but think a: you sent her and b: she has 2-in-1 personality, encompassing you. She is her own self, but has MANY Finny tendencies. She is hilarious.

Thank you for sending us her.

The holidays are approaching … we decorated the tree, hung your paw print & proudly display your photo with Santa (you were so BAD that day!)….

I look back at the Instagram stories I posted during this time, too – you were prominent. My heart hurts.

Christmas will be hard without you. In general… life is hard. We miss you.

I’ll gift a local rescue a little somethin’ somethin’ in honor of you, my boy.
